BMW G 310 GS |
BMW Motorrad has launched the highly-anticipated G 310 GS at Rs 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Bookings for the motorcycle is open for a token amount of Rs 50,000. Highlights of the mini ADV are its long travel suspension and functional bodywork inspired by the larger R 1200 GS. In profile, the G 310 GS looks larger than its G 310 R cousin.
The G 310 GS is powered by a 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that’s good for 34PS at 9500rpm, and 28Nm at 7500rpm. It comes paired with a 6-speed transmission. The frame is a tubular trellis unit and employs 41mm inverted front forks and a rear monoshock. It gets a substantial 180mm of travel on both wheels. Braking is via300mm front and a 240mm rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS as standard.

The entry-level adventure-faces competition from the Royal Enfield Himalayan, Apache RR310,Duke 390 and the more expensive Kawasaki Versys-X 300.
